While my parents were watching a filipino soap opera, I came by and...
  • (All loosely translated)
  • main guy: See all that land over there? I'll buy them for you; that's where we'll put up our palace.
  • -insert more fluff-
  • main guy: Like the air around us, my love for you will always be around you.
  • main girl: Like the air around us, without your love I won't live.
  • -insert more fluff with odd similes and proclamations of everlasting love-
  • -more fluff with a hint of a love triangle but still hanging onto the "like the air" symbolism-
  • -more fluff here too but now with angst concerning class differences; still with lines akin to "like the air"-
  • Me: ...is that how couples talk to one another? Is that how you guys talk to one another?
  • Dad: Of course. I told her I'm an Airbender. Won her over.
  • Me: pfft.
  • Mom: No such thing. He said nothing like those lines.
  • Dad: No, no. That's how your mom fell in love with me. Airbender.
  • Mommy: No.

  • So I take it that romance in the media aren't accurate portrayals of real life romantic relationships? Well, there goes my almost nonexistent knowledge on romance.
Day 22 | 1-22-12
Every time I looked up from my psych textbook, this was what I see. My backyard is less of a yard at the back of the house and more of just a strip of cemented land.

Day 21 | 1-21-12
Considering it was a Saturday, I watched Supernatural with my dad for most of the day. I like shows with at least a decent storyline and great character development; thankfully, Supernatural has both. And amidst the horror and the brooding, there was even comedy. The sibling bond was also great to see. No, I don’t ship them—they’re perfect as brothers.

Day 20 | 1-20-12
My grandma knitted this sweater for my dog about… three or four years ago. Has it really been that long? Time flies, man. Anyway, since it has been freezing cold lately, I figured my dog, who is incredibly weak against the cold, needs a sweater so I used this one. Figures it was too small.
Another awkward picture of Skye. I believe that most—if not all—my pictures of her are when I mess with her.

Day 19 | 1-19-12
I finally got around to changing the strings of my guitar. I’m a brute so it was no surprise that I broke the B string—still usable though. Ah, the picture is of the rag I used to clean the fretboard. Really dirty. Poor guitar.
